After sending out my most recent correspondence to my newsletter subscribers, I immediately received an unsubscribe request with the following comment: Don’t get time to read many emails anymore and the information is not “new”.

Of course, I would prefer it if everyone who subscribed to my list loved it and stayed a subscriber. Yet, in this case, this subscriber made a very valid point. The information is not “new.”

old book

My forte’ is motivation implementing the power of gratitude. And I’d say it’s been around since Biblical times.

Nothing new there.

Just some truths with a personal spin on them. So, he’s exactly right. There’s really nothing new.

It’s exactly what’s been there all along and what will be there long after I’m gone.

It’s not the information that’s new. It’s what we’re ready to hear that can sometimes seem new.

I don’t know how many times I would “hear” something and I would think, “I already know that” and just blow it off…

However, when the timing was right, I would shift from “no biggie, I know that” to truly understanding what I was reading.

“Knowing” has a hint of “yeah, yeah, I’ve heard it before,” whereas true understanding you feel from the heart.

So I’m sorry to disappoint you by not having “new” material to discuss. But, consider this: What is old hat to you may be totally new to someone else.

To each his own.

My point to this is that no matter what you read or hear, it’s probably been said and heard before.

But it’s up to you to decipher what is important information and what you can live without.

What you may be discarding may be exactly what someone else needed to hear at that very moment.

I’m glad my former subscriber found my information “old hat.” That just means he has already done his homework and is further along than someone else may be. Good for him! I’m happy that he already knows what I’m sharing! :)

I’m always happy when I know someone has furthered themselves. It’s a great feeling. (of course, it’s even better when I got to help out!)

In the coming months, you’ll be hearing more from me. (That sorta sounds like a New Year’s Resolution, eh?)

Some of the info may be repetitive; although at times, I’m liable to put my own unique spin on it to create something fresh. A variation on the stuff you may have heard over and over.

Who knows, my take on it may be exactly what you need to hear to make it resonate with you. And that’s my goal - to help you take in the info you need to create your best life possible.

That’s my wish for you - a life lived with joy, in gratitude, as the wonderfully unique person you were born to become. I’m here to help you unveil that person who’s been hiding for so long.

The person who’s hiding beneath that veil of “I’m not good enough” or “What will people think” and the ever so popular “What if I fail” (the list goes on and on…)

It’s my mission to help uncover the true YOU that is just waiting to come out and play!

Let’s make this the year we reveal our true selves and authenticate in 2008!
