Shortly after I wrote the article about releasing your negative mindset, I found a couple more short videos from Mr. Inspiration himself, Nick Vujicic.
He especially touches my heart because of my mother-in-law’s amputation.
I see how she struggles, just missing one leg and am so impressed not only by what he can accomplish with no limbs, but his incredible disposition.
His drive to help others is amazing!
So, the next time you’re tempted to gripe about what you “can’t” do, remember your limits are self-imposed and remember Nick Vujicic and think again!
“If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.”
- Henry Ford
I’ll be totally honest with you. I can’t remember the last time I expressed gratitude for my arms and legs and how they work properly and get me around with ease and make doing things so easy.
Have you ever expressed your gratitude for yours? What about your sight? Your hearing?
Don’t worry, I’m as guilty of it as you are. This is a true wake up call to be thankful for what you have and to realize how truly blessed you are, no matter what your situation is.
Here are parts 1-3 of this speech. Very moving and inspirational. And check out how he answers the phone…
You can find a bunch more clips and find out more about Nick’s vision at his site.
I double dog dare you to pity yourself after watching this amazing young man!
