Here I am once again, the queen of analogies, ready to share my various thoughts with you.

There are so many clothes stuffed into the small space known as my closet that although I consciously want new and better ones, there is no room because my subconscious is hanging onto the ones of the past. Why do I feel the need to hang onto the dress that Mom bought for me that I never even liked, let alone fit into? Or the multitude of shirts that I sort of like, but probably will never wear? Don’t even get me started on the “skinny” clothes…

With a closet full of clothes and no room for more, I can “want” all day long but until I do some clearing work, I’ll always have what I’ve always had and nothing more.

And so it is with life…

Once I clear out the closet, I’ll make room for the new ones which quite possibly are right there waiting for their space in my closet to open up. Until we clear a path for the new and better in our lives, we’ll be exactly where we have been and therefore, currently are.

By clearing out the closet and donating the clothes, I will not only have space, but will also be implementing one part of the law of giving and receiving. When I give them away, I can bless them and release them for someone else’s good use and wait for more good to come to me, which it most certainly always does.

And so it is with life… The old saying is right on the money… “Out with the old and in with the new.” Now is the perfect time to make room for all of the new and better things that are ready to come your way.

I’m decided to clear my closet as the proverbial first step to clearing my way to the life I intend to have.

Let me ask you this…

Are you ready and willing to clear your path?
