Hi! My name is Angie Buckner Lay and I’m Your Inspired Gratitude Coach! I’m a self-proclaimed motivational junkie and thoughtful ponderer who views the world just a bit different than others and likes it that way! I’m livin’ life on the bright side!

Personal Development is my passion and I love to share what I’ve learned with others while putting my own unique spin on the knowledge I’ve acquired.

I’m at my best when empowering others to find that “special something” deep inside them and help them live their best life possible!

A little about me: I’m starting over again and acquiring many lessons along the way. As my day job, I work as a new doctor coordinator for a dental lab. I talk with dentists and their staff all day long. It’s a great job and I absolutely love it!

I’ve been called “touchy-feely” and have been accused of viewing the glass as half full for years. I figured if I’m going to be accused of it, why not embrace it and share it with the world? I’ve also been accused of being weird and have also learned to embrace my weirdness and view it as being unique, as opposed to weird.

Hey, that’s my prerogative, right???

In my spare time, I studied self-development of all sorts, worked on my blog and tried to convince the kids it’s still cool to hang with Mom. Not that it did any good, mind you…

My passion led me to create my former site, Motivational Stuff. I started it to share my own motivational stuff, and found it became an expensive hobby! That’s why I decided to go the blog route… This way, I can share what I find motivational and inspires me, but in a more personal way.

Over the years, my passion has changed, but what hasn’t is my ability to see life just a bit differently than others. I’m just now starting to step into my own true self and am ready to share it with the world.

And this blog is my personal playground and soapbox all wrapped up in one.
