I decided to take a couple of days off last week (of work, that is) and ended up taking off days here too! To say it was a different weekend than most would be an understatement, to say the least…

Thursday, I spent the day trading off my van and getting my new car. I had been “feeling” a new car for a while (since I really never wanted that van anyway…long story) and was tired of spending a fortune on the gas, etc… I got my tax refund and went looking for an economical car that I liked. I drove two. The first, I knew was mine when I got in it. The way the seat hugged me, the steering wheel felt perfect in my hand… Just knew. The second, well, it was nice. Just couldn’t see myself in it.

So, I got the car and spent the day running errands. Then Friday, I woke up sick as a dog and spent most of the day sleeping. Looking at the bright side, at least I didn’t have to call in sick since I had already taken the day off!

Saturday was spent with more running around and chilling out that night. Sunday we did some more running around and here we are, weekend gone already, wondering where it went!

My point?

I don’t really have one.

Just getting back into the swing of clicking my fingers on this keyboard… Amazing how rusty you get when you take a few days off…lol

So, that’s the scoop, and why I haven’t been around for a few days.
