the code The Code: Use the Laws of Manifestation to Achieve Your Highest Good shows how to apply The Code to your life through daily intentions. He lives by the 10 intentions: Support Life, Seek Truth, Set Your Course, Simplify, Stay Positive, Synchronize, Serve Others, Shine Your Light, Share Your Vision and Synergize. Tony writes clearly and concisely, drawing the reader in for another helping of his wisdom. His Intender's Stories are scattered throughout the book and give it that human touch. It's interesting to read how the material was put into action by others. It moves more from theory to real world.
The next time you make an intention---it doesn't matter what it is---resolve, at the same time, that you're willing to wait as long as it takes for it to manifest. Do this for a few of your intentions, then step back into a state of divine nonchalance, knowing that whatever you're intending is coming to you in its perfect timing. Now you're free to experience patience, and one of the first things you'll discover is that stress is not as much a part of your life as it once was. It's gone by the wayside because peace of mind has stepped in and taken its place. In order to have it all, you've got to give it all up. --pg. 91 The Code by Tony Burroughs
I found myself wanting more and more and shaking my head in agreement at times. At times, it even made me think, "Wow, I never thought of it that way before." I don't agree with everything he says and a couple of his ideas battle with some of my personal beliefs. As always, I pick and choose what to take away from each book I read. I suggest you do the same. I have yet to find an author (or human being, for that matter) that thinks just as I do. And so I deliberately pull from the book the juicy morsels and leave the rest. Selective reading, I'd say! Bottom line is I'd recommend the book for anyone looking to improve their life!
