If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they may have planned for you? Not much.
- Jim Rohn
Jim Rohn pretty much sums it up. How many times have you put your life in someone else's hands (and I'm not talking spiritually here) and wondered why you weren't where you wanted to be?
Sometimes you just have to take a moment, sit back and take stock of your life.
Ask yourself:
Am I happy where I am right now? (If not, why?)
If money weren't an issue, what would I be doing differently? (allow yourself to think big)
What did I want when I was a child? Is that still a hidden, unfulfilled dream?
Am I holding onto things that don't empower me? (people included)
What am I allowing in my life that may not be in my best interest? Why do I continue to allow it?
How would my life be different if I no longer allowed it? Would it be better or worse?
Have I given up myself and become what I think I should be, not who I truly am? If so, how has that held me back?
What really matters to me and am I honoring those things with my life, or have they gone by the wayside?
Sometimes it's easy to get wrapped up in the illusion of
what is and ignore the more importantly
what could be.
From time to time, I need to take inventory of my life and see where I'm running low and "reorder," so to speak.
Take some time and ask yourself the above questions and see for yourself.
You just may need to reorder yourself.

2Thanks, Jeanne!
I’m glad you like my blog.
Glad I’m not the only “habitual allower” around! That’s a toughie for sure. It does really help to take stock and find out what you’re allowing that really doesn’t benefit you.
I find it is really easy to put blinders on to it, so actually stepping back and analyzing your life really helps!
Sometimes you are shocked at what you find out!
Btw… Nice blogs you have!
