Randy Pausch – A Great Man Remembered

When I heard the news about Randy Pausch's death, it seemed surreal. How could Randy actually die? He seemed so superhuman. When I first saw his Last Lecture speech, I was floored.

He basically created the filmed lecture not only for his students/faculty, but for his kids... What a way to remember your dad! When I read his book, The Last Lecture, I was in tears because this man really knew how to live. He made sure his wife and kids knew the extent of his love and he proved it day after day. That family got more love and dedication in the years he was here than most people get in a lifetime. We could all learn a thing or two from him... He's got a whole section in the book about enabling the dreams of others. That's something I can definitely relate to... It's obvious from the stories in his book that he's done quite a bit of that, and now through his now famous Last Lecture, his legacy will live on to inspire others... The Last Lecture website
