Many of you will recognize this product from the Health Links section of my site. I just had another dentist appointment and had a great surprise! A few years ago, when I went to the dentist, I was told I had 7 5mm pockets and was in need of gum surgery (to the tune of $2400!) The reason I needed surgery was the money factor. I couldn't afford the regular visits, so how on earth could I afford over two grand??? I left that appointment totally bummed out, knowing I couldn't do the surgery anytime soon. When I went home, I decided to search online for an alternative but didn't really find anything that interesting. I purchased an oral irrigator (think syringe with an angled tip) and used that for a while. It helped a little but by no means did it live up to their claims. So, I just figured I'd be stuck with an unhealthy mouth and just have to live with it. And for a while I did. A few months ago, I decided to look for something online again and that's when I found OraMD! I decided to order since the price was so reasonable - I figured it couldn't hurt. Hurt it didn't - help it did. In a HUGE way! Within a couple weeks, my gums were a nice shade of pink again, and gone was the inflammation. It seemed as if the receding was under control. Before I ordered I read the testimonials, but didn't quite "buy them." But now I'm a true believer! Back to my nice surprise... When I went to the dentist, I found I only had one pocket, and it was only 3mm deep. And now that I know which teeth it's between (30 and 31) I can concentrate more in that area. The best part? He said there's no way I need surgery! I'm sold. Over the past few months I've been telling people left and right about it but never really promoted it on here. When I sat back and really thought about it, I realized what a disservice I was doing by not getting the message out about it. So, there you go. I suggest you give it a try.
