Many of you will recognize this product from the Health Links section of my site. I just had another dentist appointment and had a great surprise!

A few years ago, when I went to the dentist, I was told I had 7 5mm pockets and was in need of gum surgery (to the tune of $2400!) The reason I needed surgery was the money factor. I couldn’t afford the regular visits, so how on earth could I afford over two grand??? I left that appointment totally bummed out, knowing I couldn’t do the surgery anytime soon.

When I went home, I decided to search online for an alternative but didn’t really find anything that interesting. I purchased an oral irrigator (think syringe with an angled tip) and used that for a while. It helped a little but by no means did it live up to their claims.

So, I just figured I’d be stuck with an unhealthy mouth and just have to live with it. And for a while I did.
